Jazz vs. Clippers: The best player prop bets for Game 6

The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Utah Jazz by eight points in Game 5 in Salt Lake City despite missing five-time All-Star Kawhi Leonard. L.A. turned to veterans Paul George and Marcus Morris Sr. instead to carry the weight, and the pair responded by scoring 62 points combined.

The Clippers have an opportunity to clinch the series tonight at home, but they'll need to win a fourth straight game to pull off the feat. We've examined this evening's matchup closely and have selected the three best players props to wager on.

Royce O’Neale Over/Under 8.5 Points

Royce O’Neale is getting significant minutes in this playoff series. At 38 minutes per game, it is by far the most playing time of any playoff series in his career. For the season, he averaged 31 minutes per game. His athleticism and defensive ability, combined with Mike Conley’s injury woes, have given the young fourth-year pro additional opportunity, and he’s going to see plenty of court time again in Game 6.

For the season, O’Neale averaged just 7.0 points per game, but in this series he is averaging 9.6 points per game, and scored 12 points twice in Games 3 and 5. Eight points seems to be his floor in this series, so I like his chances of scoring nine points or more tonight.

Rudy Gobert Over/Under 28.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists

Donovan Mitchell may be the Utah Jazz’s best player, but Rudy Gobert is arguably the team's most impactful. If the Jazz are going to win in Game 6, "The Stifle Tower" needs to step up and be decisive.

In the regular season, Gobert averaged 14.1 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. That totals 28.9. In this series, he is averaging 24.8 combined points, rebounds, and assists despite getting more minutes. That isn’t a good sign, but the silver lining is that his total output has been nearly three points higher in Utah's two wins.

Look for Gobert to get a bit more space to work if Utah's guards and wings can connect from deep, and for his number to get called more often on the block, where he can use his size, strength, and athleticism to his advantage.

Paul George to record a Double-Double

With Leonard out, the fate of the Clippers' postseason rests firmly on George’s shoulders. Fortunately for L.A., "Playoff P" is more than capable of handling the burden, as he demonstrated with his monumental performance in Game 5. While the points component of this prop is hardly in question, the rebounding total is worth digging into.

Considering George hauled in 16 rebounds in Game 5 without Leonard, it's reasonable to think he can grab 10 boards in Game 6, even with a normal regression. Ivica Zubac only played eight minutes on Wednesday, and the Clippers came away victorious, so look for L.A. to stick with the rotations that got the most burn in Game 5, and for George to have ample space in the paint to haul down missed shots.
