Jazz vs. Clippers: The best player prop bets for Game 4

A return to the Staples Center sparked some life in the Los Angeles Clippers, who beat up the top-seeded Utah Jazz, 132-106, in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

On Monday night, the fourth-seeded Clippers will remain at home and could even the series, 2-2, in a pivotal Game 4.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George unleashed their A-game in Game 3, as the pair combined for 65 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Nicolas Batum enjoyed a huge night with 17 points, seven rebounds, and went 4-of-6 from behind the arc.

As for the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell once again led his teammates with 30 points, but tweaked his ankle in the middle of the fourth quarter and did not return to the game.

The shooting guard, who missed the final month of the regular season because of an ankle issue, will need to play near full strength to prevent the Clippers from turning the tide in this series.

Donovan Mitchell Over 3.5 3-point field goals made

Mitchell has been the catalyst behind Utah's run in the NBA Playoffs. Up until Saturday's loss, the Jazz owned a six-win streak, in which Mitchell led his team in scoring in all six games.

Aside from Games 3 and 4 in the first round against Memphis, Mitchell has shot at least 40% from 3-point land and has made a total of 31 treys this postseason.

The Clippers began to figure out Utah's star in Game 3, as the sharpshooter was held scoreless until 7:34 in the second quarter.

In spite of a cold first quarter, Mitchell went on to score Utah's next 16 points, which included four 3-pointers, and finished with his fifth straight game with at least 30 points.

If Mitchell's ankle is still bothering him on Monday, that could mean more set shooting and fewer drives to the basket.

He has hit at least five 3-pointers in his past five games and should continue his hot shooting in Monday's crucial battle.

Jackson to score more points than Bogdanovic

Twitter is abuzz over "Playoff Reggie Jackson," after the Clippers guard piled up a team-high 29 points in Game 2 of this series and added another 17 in Game 3.

The former Detroit Piston, who signed with Los Angeles in February of last season, averaged just 10.7 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.9 rebounds during the 2020-21 regular season.

In 10 postseason games, his points average has jumped to 16.3, while he has shot 61.% from the field, including 12-of-19 (64.4%) from the 3-point line in the last three games.

Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic is trending in the opposite direction in this series.

After tallying 18 points in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals, he posted 16 points in Game 2 and a measly nine points on 2-of-10 shooting in Game 3.

At +130 odds, back Jackson to light it up on the hardwood and outscore Bogdanovic in Game 4.

Gobert Under 27.5 points, rebounds, and assists

In Game 3, the Clippers' zone defense frustrated the Jazz and held Utah to just 17-of-40 shooting from inside the 3-point line. 

Rudy Gobert still managed to record his fourth straight double-double but scored under 13 points for his third straight game.

The Jazz center also brought down 10 rebounds, half his total from Game 2, and failed to record an assist.

His performance resembled his Game 1 output, as Gobert turned in 10 points, 12 rebounds, and no assists in the opening matchup of the series.

The Clippers made the proper adjustments to close the gap on the Jazz and should pick up where they left off on Saturday. Look for another modest night from Gobert, as a result, and hit the Under on his total points, rebounds, and assists.
