Jazz vs Clippers: The best player prop bets for Game 3
The Utah Jazz hold a 2-0 series lead on the Los Angeles Clippers heading into Saturday’s Game 3 (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC), but things could change in a hurry as the venue shifts to the Staples Center.
Here are our three favorite player props for this matchup.
Kawhi Leonard Over/Under 27.5 points
If the Clippers are going to climb back into this series, they’ll need Kawhi Leonard to step up his game at home.
Leonard is averaging just under 30 points per game this postseason, but his first two performances against the Jazz have left something to be desired. He scored just 23 points in Game 1 and 21 points in Game 2, which would be respectable totals for most players, but not for someone of Leonard’s stature.

L.A.’s backs are not truly to the wall in Game 3, but it feels like a must-win to avoid a 3-0 hole in the series. When the Clippers were facing a 3-2 deficit in Dallas, Leonard responded with 45 points. Look for him to answer the bell here.

Donovan Mitchell Over/Under 31.5 points
Donovan Mitchell has been a big reason why Utah has forged a 2-0 series lead, as he accounted for 45 points in Game 1 and 37 points in Game 2. However, smart bettors will take the Under on his point total prop in Game 3.
Mitchell failed to exceed 31.5 points in each of the four games he played against the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round, albeit not by much (averaged 28.5 points per game). He was busy creating opportunities for other players, as he accumulated 23 assists over the final three games.

Mitchell will likely be keyed on by Clippers coach Tyronn Lue, forcing him to either give up the rock or take some bad shots. Those who are bullish on Mitchell may want to consider betting on Over 5.5 assists, but the best play here is the Under on 31.5 points.
NBA pick: Under
Rudy Gobert Over/Under 28.5 points, rebounds & assists
The Jazz have been getting solid efforts from Rudy Gobert all postseason long, as he’s averaged 30.5 points, rebounds, and assists over seven games. Bettors should expect another excellent all-around game from him on Saturday night.

Gobert cleared the 28.5 plateau in Game 2 despite not tallying a single assist. He amassed 20 rebounds and collected 13 points.
He’s taken a back seat to Mitchell in the scoring department in this series, firing up just 11 shots. But as we mentioned above, that could change here. Gobert averaged a much more robust 17.4 points per game in the Memphis series, so we know what he’s capable of doing.
