Heat vs. Pacers: The best player prop bets for Dec. 3
The Pacers will welcome the Heat’s J.V. team to Indiana on Friday night when they two clubs clash at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Miami will be without several of its top contributors including leading scorer Jimmy Butler, who is sidelined with a tailbone injury, leading rebounder Bam Adebayo, who is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair a torn UCL in his right thumb, and power forward Markieff Morris, who is dealing with neck pain. Shooting guard Victor Oladipo will also be in street clothes, although his absence is less impactful as he has yet to play a game this season while recovering from a quadricep injury.
Indiana will gladly accept any advantage it can get as the Pacers have lost three straight and seven of their last 10 games. Malcolm Brogdon & Co. showed signs of life on Wednesday in a spirited 114-111 loss to the Atlanta Hawks, but are still six games below .500 and trending in the wrong direction.
Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. ET, and we have the three best player prop bets below.
Domantas Sabonis to record a double-double
Although the Pacers have been struggling lately, it hasn't been because of the play of Domantas Sabonis. The two-time All-Star is averaging a rock-solid 17.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game and leads the league in double-doubles with 17. In fact, he's only missed registering a double-double twice in the last 30 days, and in one of those instances he played just 22 minutes.

Sabonis finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds the first time he faced the Heat on Oct. 23, and should have no problem stuffing the stat sheet tonight with Adebayo unavailable. Backup center Dewayne Dedmon is still a serviceable big, but he lacks the quickness and verticality to really make Sabonis sweat.
Pick: Yes (-278)
Top scorer of the game
Miami will need someone to score with Butler and Adebayo both out, and no player is better suited to the task than Tyler Herro. The 21-year-old shooting guard is averaging a career-high 21.7 points per game and has already led the Heat in scoring eight times this season, including on Oct. 23 when the Pacers cooled off the Heat 102-91.
Not only is Herro tickling the twine with increased frequency in his third season, but he's doing so without compromising his efficiency. His 45% field goal percentage and 39.3 3-point field goal percentage are both up from his previous two-campaigns, and he's become far more than just a spot-up shooter.

Tyler Herro meant to pass it, but it went in ... from HALF COURT 😅 pic.twitter.com/J4FEMYp0M6
Herro took 23 shots in Wednesday's loss to the Cavs with Butler watching from the sidelines, and he should hoist a similar number of attempts tonight. Count on him making close to 50% of his looks and leading both teams in scoring.
Pick: Tyler Herro (+110)
Malcolm Brodgon Over/Under 6.5 assists
Malcolm Brogdon is averaging just 6.1 assists per game this season, but there's reason to believe Indiana's floor general will surpass that total tonight. For starters, Brogdon is fresh off a nine-assist performance against the Hawks, and he delivered 12 dimes against the Raptors on Nov. 26. It marked the third time this year he's served up 10 helpers or more. With Miami's top defenders ailing, Brogdon should cook the Heat tonight.
Pick: Over 6.5 assists (+110)
