FanEx Sports NBA Daily Fantasy Tips for 4/4/2014
The NBA season seems to be put on the back burner of a lot of players minds, but with a 14 game slate tonight how could you resist the temptation to play. With some good playoff races developing out West and at the top of the East, every game is important now with only two weeks left in the regular season. There are a lot of NBA players that are being considered game time decisions, so when you making your lineup today make sure to monitor everyone's status.
Here are today's NBA players that I like today:
Dirk Nowitzki - $47.13
The Dallas Mavericks are one of those teams where every game they play has so much weight to whether they make it into the playoffs or not. Last night Dallas got an impressive win against the Clippers in LA, and Dirk led the team with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Tonight they face the Lakers at Staples Center which should be a nice match-up for Dirk since the Lakers don't really have a stretch four that can guard the crafty German. Expect more of the same from Dirk tonight, and lets all hope that the Lakers at least show up to play this one to give Dirk some value.
Jared Sullinger - $34.96
Sullinger and the Celtics have really just fallen out of any conversation about the NBA for quite some time now, but tonight they have the best match-up against the 76ers. Wednesday night Sullinger had a nice outing against the Wizards scoring 25-points and grabbing 4-rebounds. Sullinger isn't a "sexy" pick for tonight, but the guy is averaging 21.5-points, 13.5-rebounds, 3.5-assists, and 2-blocks against the 76ers this season.
Kyrie Irving - $31.64
Irving returned from injury on Wednesday and made an immediate impact. He finished the game with 17-points, 6-rebounds, and 8-assists, and tonight he and the Cavs face the Atlanta Hawks. For the price, Irving has huge upside tonight in a very busy Wednesday slate, so if you are looking for someone that will give you more FanEx points than what he is worth Irving is your guy tonight.
Omer Asik - $24.67
In a position that is limited on the selections everyday, you have to take advantage of injured centers in order to get value out of the position. Although there are great high valued centers for tonight's slate, if you are looking for a low priced center who has the upside to be a high valued guy Asik could deliver for you. In Howard's absence, Asik has double-doubled 2 of the last 3 games including a 23 rebound game against the Nets. Tonight the Rockets play the Thunder without Perkins in the middle due to the back-to-back situation, so Asik could have a nice outing.
Reggie Jackson - $32.12
Westbrook has already been ruled out for tonight's back-to-back against the Rockets, so Jackson should get the start at point guard for the Thunder. In Westbrook's absence this year Jackson has done nothing but produce, so I like Jackson tonight going against Jeremy Lin. Jackson is another low priced point guard that could allow you to make room for headline names like Durant, LeBron, or Carmelo.
