FanEx Sports NBA Daily Fantasy Tips for 4/2/2014
With baseball on its third day of action, we are adding a twist to Winners Wednesday for the next few weeks. Instead of just NBA contests, the player with the most combined NBA contest wins will win the $50 bonus for the FanEx Winners Wednesday. In case you haven't been paying attention to the NBA, Chris Paul has been on a solid run over the last three games averaging 23 points, 10 assists, and 5 rebounds. The last two games have been without Blake Griffin in the lineup, so Chris Paul has been carry the load offensively with Griffin's injury. Tonight the Clippers face Phoenix likely without Griffin and Crawford, so look for Chris Paul and even Darren Collison ($30.85) to take over for the Clippers on the offensive end. I like both of the Clippers PG's tonight in what will be a fast paced game in Phoenix.
Kemba Walker - $42.68
Walker has been a steady force at the point guard position for the Bobcats all year and it seems as though he has found his stride at the right time. In his last 5 games he is averaging 23 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds, and not to mention he plays the 76ers tonight. Against the 76ers this year, Walker is averaging 22 points, 9 assists, and 3 rebounds, so it is safe to say that Walker will be a solid option tonight at the guard position.
DeMarcus Cousins - $54.23
Everyone's fantasy dream... To have DMC play against the Lakers! Cousins will likely be going against Kaman and Hill in the post, which should allow him to have an absolute field day especially coming off of a 35-point, 14-rebound game against the Pelicans. Cousins will probably be rostered in at least 50% of all rosters tonight on FanEx. Cousins is the high priced star that I like the most tonight with his nice match-up, consistent touches, and superior talent.
Chandler Parsons - $37.97
Parsons is getting his well deserved minutes, 40.4 minutes per game over the last 5, and he is producing solid numbers across the stat sheet. Over the last 5 game he is averaging 17.4 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. With both Howard and Jones questionable again tonight against Toranto, Parson will need to continue to carry more of the offensive load with double teams likely getting thrown at Harden all night.
Gorgui Dieng - $27.15
If you are looking for a player that will produce when inserted into the starting lineup, then Dieng is your guy. With Pekovic having another setback with his ankle on Monday and likely out for today, Dieng should get plenty of opportunities tonight against Memphis. Although Memphis has a decent defense and solid big men in Gasol and Randolph, I like Dieng for his price and playing alongside Kevin Love, who demands all attention. Look for Dieng to return to double-double form tonight and reach good fantasy value.
