FanEx Sports NBA Daily Fantasy Recap for 2/6/2014
Last night's two games were a bit lack luster with almost the entire Spurs lineup sitting out due to injury or old age, and the shorthanded Bulls got a nice beat down for Stephen Curry and the Warriors. While the games were not that exciting, a few players to watch moving forward performed well.
Star of the Night:
The Star of last night's two game TNT slate was Stephen Curry. Curry has been the leader and catalyst for the Warriors this season helping him get to his first All-Star game as a starter. Last night Curry had one of his best games of the season with 34 points on 13 for 19 shooting to go along with 9 assists and 3 rebounds. Curry is capable of exploding for 40 points on any given night, but his lack of turnovers in the recent games have helped him solidify his game and ultimately help the Warriors stay competitive in every game.
Analyzing Spurs Value Picks:
$25.36 - Patty Mills: Depending on how long Tony Parker is out for, Patty Mills has some great value at the PG position scoring double digit points thus far in the season in games where Parker has sat out.
$24.89 - Cory Joseph: Joseph had his best game of the season for the Spurs, but he hasn't shined prior to this performance, so there is some hesitation to slot him above Mills at this point. He should have the wait and see approach come game times, but slot him below the other Spurs reserves at the moment.
$29.10 - Danny Green: Danny Green is the biggest beneficiary for the banged up Spurs as he stepped into a leadership role very quickly last night. Green had 17 points and 8 rebounds last night leading to 32 FanEx points, so look for Green to continue to flourish in this offense while Parker and Manu are out.
