Seemingly ever sport has power rankings, and NASCAR is no exception. NASCAR has something called driver rating, and it can be beneficial to players when handicapping NASCAR Cup Series races.
Here are the current top 10 NASCAR drivers by driver rating. These ratings are based on the 2019 season.
Understanding driver rating
How does driver rating work? It factors in primary statistics, such finishing position, average running position, average speed in traffic, and fastest laps. Those stats are supported by fixed bonuses for winning, finishing in the top 15, leading most laps, and finishing on the lead lap. There are a few other factors, but that is the majority of the information needed to find driver rating.
