Harvick's 6/1 odds at the AAA Texas 500 are too good to pass up

A very important note to make is that Texas Motor Speedway was repaved in 2017. The casual fan may not notice the difference, but Texas hasn’t been the same since the change. Any stats prior to 2017 should not be considered when attempting to pick a winner this week. Let’s find the drivers who have taken to the new surface and reveal a winner.
Odds to win the AAA Texas 500

Hop on Harvick's 6/1 odds
Kevin Harvick is a MUST play this weekend in Texas. The 6/1 odds are juicy enough considering his stats at the track. Since 2017, Harvick has two wins, with four Top 5 finishes in five starts. His average finish in those five starts is 3.2. He also hasn’t finished outside of the Top 10 in those same starts. He leads all active drivers with 379 laps led in that span.A special one for the whole family.@KevinHarvick | #Brickyard400 pic.twitter.com/fNCyQ20cnI

Keep an eye on Logano
If Harvick slips up, Joey Logano just may be there to pick up the pieces. In the last five starts at Texas, Logano has two Top 5 finishes with 101 laps led. He has an average finish of 7.2 in those last five starts. He found himself in a bit of drama last weekend at Martinsville with Denny Hamlin. Usually, it’s best to stay away from drama, but Logano is a wheelman in that race car.Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin battled hard on the track.

Logano's 7/1 odds aren't all that bad, and after last week’s events you have to believe he is going to want to shut up his critics. Look for Logano to drive with determination and to do everything in his power to grab the checkered flag at Texas. A win would mean an automatic berth into the Final Four at Homestead.
