UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Gane betting odds, preview, and pick
Ciryl Gane and Jairzinho Rozenstruik headline the Feb. 27 edition of UFC Fight Night. These heavyweights are bringing the heat, and we have the betting odds and preview you need ahead of their eagerly anticipated showdown.
Gane and Rozenstruik at the crossroads
Just week after two other top 10 heavyweights turned in an explosive night, we should expect no less from Gane and Rozenstruik. Both men are coming off of impressive stoppage wins and are climbing the ladder toward a title shot.
Gane has showed a lot of promise. He is undefeated in his MMA, is a versatile striker, and is a capable submission artist. An excellent kickboxer, Gane can be dangerous on the outside, a terror on the inside, and a threat on the ground.
Because of his high ceiling, and perhaps the idea his opponent has hit his own, bettors are firmly backing the Frenchman to win. But he can’t get caught by the hard-punching Rozenstruik.

Rozenstruik can score an upset
Rozenstruik is the bigger puncher, and he can carry his power late in the fight. While not as technical or well-rounded as the favorite, Rozenstruik’s eraser makes him a live underdog.
Both men are capable strikers, and Gane’s ability to mix it up close only plays to Rozenstruik’s strengths. This may end up being a methodical bout in the opening stages, as Gane will try to sap Rozenstruik’s energy with leg kicks, while Rozenstruik will try to rush in to land big shots.
Gane's talent should shine
Gane’s reach is the X factor. Rozenstruik has shown he can be kept outside to the point of frustration, because he is a one-note fighter. Yet, if Gane gets lazy or uses too much of his energy, Rozenstruik can chin check him late and finish on the ground.
What we should expect is a slower bout in the first few rounds. The tempo will pick up late, but Gane will have an insurmountable lead on the cards. Once Rozenstruik gets desperate, he’ll force his way into a big shot and potentially end the night.
In a fight more competitive than the odds suggest, Gane will win on the cards and continue his prodigious run toward a title.
MMA pick: Gane
