The best betting props for UFC 259
UFC 259 is going down Saturday, March 6, and we're ready with some tantalizing prop picks to help make you the real winner when the final bell rings.
Islam Makhachev by submission (+350)
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s handpicked successor will take the spotlight slot on the main card, against Drew Dober, an already limited opponent with no ground game.

The #OpenMat gang look ahead to a big fight in the lightweight division...

Makhachev operates in the same vein of the former lightweight champion, but with less pronounced striking. Because he is matched up against an opponent who is vulnerable to his bread and butter, Makhachev getting a submission is a wise bet.
Thiago Santos by KO, TKO, or DQ (+200)
Santos’ losses to Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira can be forgiven, but those losses have made him the underdog in an extremely winnable fight.
Aleksandar Rakic is neither the nightmare Jones was, nor does he have the awkward style of Teixeira. Rakic instead opts for a more conventional striking approach. That is going to give Santos, who is still one of the best strikers at light heavyweight, a chance to hit pay dirt and snap his skid.
Amanda Nunes Round 1 (+150)
Megan Anderson may be taller, longer, and has the one-punch power in her favor, but that means nothing against the irresistible force of Nunes.

Anderson is easy to hit and practically defenseless if she is taken down. Her only avenue to victory is to engage Nunes head on, with the hope she will connect with the greatest one-punch knockout in the history of MMA.
Because of that, Nunes will take Anderson out by the end of the first round.
Israel Adesanya decision (+250)
Though Adesanya is the prohibitive favorite, it isn’t so easy to pick him to stop Jan Blachowicz inside the distance.
Adesanya tends to respect big punchers early, before he steps on the gas, so he’ll take more caution against the bigger man. Eventually, he’s going to put it on Blachowicz and pull ahead on the cards, but Blachowicz's size, and the threat of his power, will keep Adesanya honest.
Once Adesanya is near the finish line, he’ll preserve a victory and opt to win on the cards.
