Nunes vs. Spencer is the UFC 250 bout everyone is talking about
UFC 250 would have been a major card under any other circumstance, but the event comes as the UFC is currently king of the coronavirus-time sports world.
While the card is loaded with several intriguing bouts, none will be more impactful than the main event, between Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer.

Let's dive in and discuss why this fight will be the talk around the water cooler Monday morning.
Nunes is the pound-for-pound queen
It has been five years since Nunes tasted defeat, and she has few worthy challengers. "Lioness" has risen to the top of the female rankings with her brutal defeats of name opponents and her irresistibly explosive style, and fans cannot get enough of what may end up being the most dominant run of this generation.
Though Spencer is a longshot, she is a tough competitor, with the potential to make a run for greatness. Though Nunes might be too much to handle, Spencer has the tools to make this a memorable fight.

Spencer’s toughness will be the highlight
Spencer rebounded from a game effort against Cris Cyborg at UFC 240. Spencer was outclassed but never in danger of getting stopped by one of the most notorious punchers in the sport.
In a follow-up fight against Zarah dos Santos, Spencer showed her mean side and abandoned her grappling to stop her opponent in the first round.
While this fight against Nunes might be another step too far up in class for the emerging talent, Spencer is not going to pack it in early if she feels Nunes’ heat. It is telling that Nunes requested to delay this fight an extra month to get a full camp. She is expecting a five-round battle with the upstart challenger.
A tactical battle may devolve into an all-out brawl
Nunes and Spencer specialize in clashing disciplines. Nunes is a striker and Spencer is a grappler.
While Nunes is capable of controlling the fight on the mat, she is not going to want to test Spencer’s formidable ground game and will opt to force Spencer into a traditional fight.
This fight might start off as a chess match early on. While Spencer may not make it to the end, she is going to give it all she has, and Nunes will be happy to push her to the limit.
The potential for violence makes this the can’t-miss fight of the night.
