Thursday night's clash between the Yankees and Blue Jays should be fairly one-sided in favor of the visitors.

J.A. Happ, who posted a 1.174 WHIP in six starts last month (4-1), will face a Toronto lineup that's next-to-last in the majors in home batting average this season at .210. Bettors should have confidence in the Bombers' bullpen, which pitched to a 2.33 ERA in the seven days preceding Wednesday night's implosion, to put up zeroes behind Happ.

Edwin Jackson has been horrible in four starts for the Blue Jays this year, and his most recent outing against the Rockies was his worst yet. He was knocked around for 10 runs on 10 hits in just 2 1/3 innings  May 31 and took his third straight loss. The Yankees offense has been stellar on the road this season, with 6.15 runs per contest. That's second only to the Twins in the MLB.

Mike Fiers has struggled historically against the Angels, as has Tyler Skaggs against the A's, therefore bettors should expect to see plenty of early runs at Angel Stadium on Thursday night.

Fiers allowed just a hit and three walks in six innings of work against the Angels on March 28, but Mike Trout and company have had his number over the last three seasons. Fiers owns a 6.43 ERA in seven prior starts (42 innings) against the Angels, with an opponent batting average of .298.

Skaggs had a mediocre outing against Oakland on March 31, when he allowed two runs on five hits and a walk in 4 2/3 innings. In eight starts against the A's before that, Skaggs was 2-5 with a 4.93 ERA and opponent batting average of .273 (38 1/3 innings). Shortstop Marcus Semien has been particularly lethal to Skaggs, at 10-for-21 lifetime with two home runs.
