Mike Minor and the Rangers offer good value against Chris Sale and the heavily favored Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Minor is enjoying his best season as a starter in his eight-year career, and in 12 starts following a rough opening-day loss against the Cubs, he is 5-3 with a 2.00 ERA and 1.199 WHIP. Boston is sixth in runs per game this year, but its batting average against lefties is an unremarkable .242 (18th).

Sale has recovered from a disastrous first six starts (all losses for the Red Sox), and has lowered his ERA from 6.30 to 3.84, but his team is 4-3 in his last seven outings. Bettors shouldn't put too much stock into Sale's three-hit shutout of the dreadful Royals on June 5. Texas is sixth in road offense this season at 5.5 runs per game. Third baseman Asdrubal Cabrera has been on fire since the start of June, batting .452 with an OPS of 1.159.

MLB free play: Dodgers moneyline

National League Cy Young frontrunner Hyun-Jin Ryu should get the Dodgers off to a fast start in the Freeway Series against the Angels.

Ryu has surrendered just two earned runs in his last six starts (all wins for him and the Dodgers), and has a 10.67 strikeout/walk ratio during that stretch. Mike Trout, Albert Pujols and Johnathan Lucroy are a combined 1-for-22 against the South Korean starter.

Griffin Canning sports a 1.017 WHIP in seven starts for the Halos, but his bullpen could prove to be the backbreaker against the Dodgers' potent lineup. Angels relievers have pitched to a 6.81 ERA over the last week, while their crosstown rivals' relief corps have produced a league-leading 1.20 ERA in the same span. Shortstop Corey Seager has been seeing the ball extremely well for the Dodgers, with a .406 average and 1.129 OPS.
