MLB Friday Preview: Indians at Astros, Yankees at Giants
Cleveland Indians (14-10) at Houston Astros (15-10), 8:10 p.m. ET
Corey Kluber (2-2, 5.88 ERA) (CLE) +105 / +1.5 runs (-200) / Over 8.5 runs (-110) Collin McHugh (3-2, 4.78 ERA) (HOU) -115 / -1.5 runs (+165) / Under 8.5 runs (-110)Kluber (1.615 WHIP) is still trying to find his stuff as April draws to a close, and that spells trouble against a hot-hitting Houston lineup.
Shortstop Carlos Correa has at least one hit for the Astros in five straight games, with three home runs and five RBIs. Right fielder Josh Reddick has 10 hits (two homers, five RBIs) in his last five contests. Center fielder George Springer has reached base safely in nine straight games, with 11 hits (four home runs), eight walks and nine RBIs. Third baseman Alex Bregman has reached base safely in 10 straight games, totaling 19 hits and walks combined, with three homers and nine RBIs.
The Indians' weak lineup (24th in runs per game at 3.83) faces an underrated starter in McHugh (1.063 WHIP). Cleveland's most experienced hitter against McHugh, center fielder Leonys Martin, has just three hits in 20 at-bats facing him.

New York Yankees (14-11) at San Francisco Giants (11-14), 10:15 p.m. ET
James Paxton (2-2, 3.10 ERA) (NYY) -120 / -1.5 runs (+150) / Over 6.5 runs (EVEN) Madison Bumgarner (1-3, 3.66 ERA) (SF) +110 / +1.5 runs (-180) / Under 6.5 runs (-120)There should be plenty of zeroes hung up on the Oracle Park scoreboard Friday night.
After a shaky first three outings, Paxton has turned it around. He has recorded 24 strikeouts while allowing just five hits and two walks in his last two starts combined. He'll face a feeble San Francisco lineup that has scratched out a mere 78 runs this season, third-lowest in the majors to this point.
Bumgarner is in the midst of another solid year (0.969 WHIP) and faces a hobbled New York lineup that is batting just .219 against lefties. He's supported by the Giants' top-ranked bullpen in ERA (2.48).
