Blue Jays vs. Orioles: The best player prop bets for Sept. 10
The Toronto Blue Jays (77-62) will try to extend their MLB-best eight-game winning streak tonight when they visit Camden Yards to take on the cellar-dwelling Baltimore Orioles (45-94).
The Jays are fresh off an impressive four-game sweep of the New York Yankees in which they outscored the Bronx Bombers 25-8. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. & Co are still 10.5 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East, but are now just 0.5 games back of the second wild card spot. The club’s playoff probability has also risen to 51.3% with 23 games remaining.
The Jays will hand the ball to Robbie Ray (11-5, 2.60 ERA), who was recently named AL Pitcher of the Week after giving up just two earned runs while striking out 20 over 13.2 innings. The Orioles will counter with Chris Ellis (1-0, 2.16 ERA), whom they selected off waivers from the Rays on Aug. 20.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET, and we have the three best player prop bets to wager on below.
Robbie Ray Over/Under 8.5 strikeouts
8.5 strikeouts may be a high total for most mere mortals, but not for Ray. The hard-throwing southpaw is among the league leaders in punchouts this season with 212, and has rung up 10 batters or more in each of his last four starts. Ray was especially electric on Aug. 25 against the Chicago White Sox, when he became the first lefty in franchise history to record 14 Ks in a game.

The Orioles rank fifth in the AL in strikeouts this season, and should add to Ray’s lofty total tonight.
Pick: Over 8.5 strikeouts (-104)
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over/Under 1.5 hits
The big hero on Thursday night was Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who took Andrew Heaney deep in the ninth inning for his 42nd home run. The All-Star Game MVP has launched three homers in his last four games and is hitting .412 in September. Perhaps just as importantly, Guerrero is also hitting .500 off of Ellis. Granted, he’s only faced him twice, but he had no problem muscling one of Ellis’s pitches out of the yard when they squared off on Aug. 30.

A historic #PLAKATA for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as he becomes the youngest player in @BlueJays history to reach 100 RBI's in a single season. 👏

Guerrero may not hit another four-bagger tonight, but he’s a good bet to rack up two hits as he tries to push Toronto back into the postseason.
Pick: Over 1.5 hits (+141)
Austin Hays Over/Under 0.5 hits
You can be forgiven if you stopped paying attention to the Orioles months ago, but one player who has been worth watching is Austin Hays. The 26-year-old outfielder ranks fourth on the team in home runs (16) and RBIS (56), and has been hitting .300 with two taters and seven RBIs since the calendar flipped to September.
Hays has also had some success against Ray, eking out three hits and a walk in his six plate appearances against him. Expect Hays to remain hot again tonight, even if the Orioles don't.
Pick: Over 0.5 hits (-216)
