Bettors are jumping on the Cincinnati Reds' World Series odds
The Cincinnati Reds have yet to enter spring training but that hasn’t stopped bettors getting excited about the team’s chances of winning their first World Series since 1990.
Churchill Downs-owned sportsbook, BetAmerica, has been forced to slash the Reds’ odds of winning the World Series from +4000 to +2800 thanks to a number of significant bets in recent weeks.

The Reds have also been supported from +2000 into +1300 at BetAmerica to win the National League pennant, while bettors are expecting Cincinnati will win more than 83.5 games (-130) during the regular season.
“The Reds have opened their wallets this off-season, and their big signings in Mike Moustakas and Nick Castellanos have our players confident they’ll be a huge playoff chance this year,” said BetAmerica President Ian Williams.
The New York Yankees are +320 favorites at BetAmerica to win the 2020 World Series, ahead of the LA Dodgers (+550), Houston Astros (+600) and Atlanta Braves (+1200).
