Week 4 SEC Betting Highlighted by Texas A&M vs. Alabama
FAIRWAY'S FREE PICKS NCAAF WEEK 4 SEC
We’re back for some redemption in Week 4 SEC betting action, and make a case against #1 ranked Alabama and #2 Georgia, who are both off to 3-0 starts, destroying their opponents while piling up points. That’s created inflated betting lines, and we’re ready to take the big barking dogs that are solid SEC teams themselves.No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs -14.5 at Missouri Tigers (12:00pm ET)
Third year Missouri coach Barry Odom has the Tigers on the prowl and off to a 3-0 start. Big test at home in Columbia against #2 Georgia, who has Bulldogged their way to three easy wins while scoring 40+ points in each contest. Georgia is laying an inflated number this week as well, but the Bulldogs are also 9-1 ATS away from home since the start of last season. Georgia buried South Carolina two weeks ago on the road laying less than 10, but Mizzu is better and underrated with first team SEC quarterback Drew Lock in the pivot playing with poise and patience, passing for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdown in the first three games and 44 TD’s last year. The Tigers have also scored at least 40 points in each of their three games this season while piling up nearly 600 yards per game offense. Missouri has now won 9 straight regular season games with their last loss to this Georgia team. Tigers a top play at this price.Week 4 SEC Betting Picks - Missouri +14.5
No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies vs. No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide -27.0 (3:30pm ET)
The Crimson Tide have piled up at least 50 points in each of their first three games, including 49 at halftime in last week’s 62-7 romp over the Ole Miss Rebels. Bettors making bank on ‘Bama will continue to ride the ‘Tide, but we’re taking that ‘Jumbo Fisher’ price with Texas A&M, who took Clemson to the wire in a 28-26 defeat two weeks ago while out gaining the Tigers and piling up 500 yards offense and most of it through the air against the vaunted Clemson defense. Dual threat QB Kellen Mond is what Alabama defenses have struggled with at times in the past, and last year Alabama was rolling off a 66-3 romp over Ole Miss and then barely beat A&M 27-19 laying 25 points. What an inflated and ridiculous price this is for a ‘Tide team traveling to Kyle Field against top-25 Texas A&M. Big ‘Dog in SEC West match-up.Week 4 SEC Betting Picks - Texas A&M +27.0
Louisiana Tech Bulldogs -21.0 at No. 6 LSU Tigers (7:00pm ET)
We complete our big ‘Dog log with La Tech (2-0), who is rested and ready off a bye catching LSU (3-0) in a great SEC sandwich spot off their huge last second upset win at Auburn last week 22-21. Letdown looming for the Bayou Bengals against a motivated in-state visitor with quality coach Skip Holtz excelling in the role of underdog. Don’t sell Louisiana Tech short, as they have the offensive firepower and experience, and have shown they’re capable of taking more than a paycheck in SEC country losing just 17-16 at South Carolina last year and 21-20 at Arkansas two years ago at this same price. This year’s Tech team is likely Holtz’ best yet after taking the last four to Bowl games and winning. A Bulldog worth backing against overachieving LSU in a letdown spot.Week 4 SEC Betting Picks - Louisiana Tech +21.0
