SEC Week 15 picks: LSU vs. Florida & 3 more
Several SEC regular seasons conclude this week, with two teams in particular looking to finish things off with big wins.
Alabama is the No. 1 team in the nation and presumably a lock to make the College Football Playoff, while Texas A&M and Florida are fifth and sixth, respectively. Texas A&M’s game against Mississippi has been postponed, while Florida is set to play a rescheduled game against LSU.
Let's dive into all of the betting odds and picks you need for Week 15 of the college football season.
#6 Florida vs. LSU
This game was originally scheduled for Oct. 17, and had to be pushed back to Week 15 due to COVID-19. At the time, Florida was a 14-point favorite that took early money and was bet up to 17 prior to being cancelled. With Florida winning every game since that time and LSU experiencing additional player opt-outs and losses, the line is now Florida -22.

Florida is 8-1 on the season (4-4-1 ATS), while LSU is 3-5 (4-4 ATS). In LSU’s most recent game they surrendered 45 points in the first half to Alabama, and they actually made the final score of 55-17 look more respectable than a 38-point loss should be. Now, LSU must face an offense that is almost equally as productive.
LSU is 0-4 ATS in its last four games against Florida, and the Tigers don’t look equipped to break that streak. With Florida sitting on the outside looking in for the College Football Playoff, head coach Dan Mullen will not hesitate to run up the score. Florida is leading the nation in passing yards per game at 376.7, while LSU has quit on the season and has no chance of keeping pace with the Gators.
Pick: Florida -22
#1 Alabama vs. Arkansas
Arkansas played in one of the best games of the SEC season last week, narrowly losing to Missouri after an incredible final offensive drive to take the lead. While it was a commendable effort and resulted in a memorable cover for bettors, it also displayed plenty of defensive concerns. Arkansas now faces the best offense in the country.

Alabama is a 32-point favorite and might be able to score enough points to backdoor this large line, but it’s likely they give up a score to Alabama on nearly every possession through the first three quarters. Najee Harris and the Alabama offense are unstoppable right now, and this is a bad letdown spot for Arkansas after an emotional shootout last week.
Pick: Alabama -32
#12 Georgia vs. Missouri
Georgia has gotten better as the 2020 season has gone on, but against a competent offense it may struggle to cover the 13.5-point spread they’re laying on the road against Missouri.
At just 3-5 ATS, the Bulldogs have not been a profitable team to support this season, and are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games against Missouri. Missouri showed good balance last week, putting up 380 passing yards and also adding 273 yards on the ground. Look for Missouri to lose, but to keep things competitive playing at home.
Pick: Missouri +13.5
Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt
It’s hard to lay 15 points with a team as awful as Tennessee, but Vanderbilt is that bad. Tennessee has had a disappointing season in its own right, but is surely eager to take advantage of an inferior opponent and is fortunate to get one in Week 15.
Vanderbilt’s offense is nearly the worst in the entire country, ahead of only Bowling Green and Massachusetts in points per play. That could potentially be overcome if the Commodres were playing good defense, but they are 116th of 127 teams in points allowed per play as well. Vanderbilt is the worst Power-5 conference team by a large margin, and will get crushed again in Week 15.
Pick: Tennessee -15
