SEC Week 13 picks: Auburn vs. Alabama & 3 more
Although many of the classic SEC-ACC matchups we've come to expect during Thanksgiving week have been taken away, we still have some intense rivalry games to look forward to during Week 13.
Let’s take a look at this year's SEC "Feast Week" slate.
#22 Auburn vs. #1 Alabama
The Iron Bowl is one of the greatest rivalries in sports, with Alabama the dominant team for more than a decade, but Auburn has still gotten in plenty of punches, including Cam Newton’s victory en route to a national championship and the “Kick Six” of 2013.
This year, Alabama is again ranked No. 1 and is a massive favorite.
Alabama enters at 7-0 straight up and 5-2 against the spread, while Auburn is 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS. The spread is a 20-point jump from last year’s spread of 3.5. In the last 10 years, Alabama has been favored by double digits in this matchup six times and has covered in four.
The spread winner will likely be decided by Auburn quarterback Bo Nix. If he has success against an Alabama defense that has looked stronger in recent games, the Tigers can cover.

Alabama has covered in four straight and has given up just three total points in its last two games.
While this feels like an enormous spread for a rivalry game, Auburn doesn’t appear equipped to stop what has become an unstoppable Alabama offense and the home team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight matchups between these two.
Look for Alabama to control the line of scrimmage and dominate.
Pick: Alabama -23.5
#13 Georgia vs. South Carolina
South Carolina is now without head coach Will Muschamp, and players are choosing to opt out for COVID-19 reasons, as well.
Top 100 draft prospect defensive backs Jaycee Horn and Israel Mukuamu have decided to sit out the remainder of the season, and against emerging Georgia quarterback JT Daniels, it couldn’t come at a worse time. This season will only get uglier for South Carolina.

A&M coach Jimbo Fisher is on a mission this season to earn the coveted top-four ranking, while LSU is a shell of last year’s championship squad.
LSU’s offense has been questionable at best, and nothing indicates the Tigers will stay competitive in this game, but it’s hard to ignore that LSU has had Texas A&M’s number. LSU has covered in the last nine meetings between the schools.
Pick: LSU +14
Mississippi State vs. Ole Miss
At the start of the season, this may have been circled as the game of the year in the conference — from an entertainment standpoint.
Mississippi State has been a disappointment, but Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin’s explosive offense has been a treat to watch.
The Rebels’ quarterback, Matt Corral, has a 74% completion rate and 22 touchdowns this season, and Kiffin knows a blowout is important for the recruiting conversations that are coming.
Pick: Ole Miss -9
