Bettors are already hitting the NCAAF Week 4 early lines to try and catch some value, while also reacting to a wild weekend of action last Saturday. There was some shakeup in the College Football AP rankings and polls following last week’s upsets. Here are the lines on the games involving ranked teams:#22 Texas A&M at #1 Alabama (-27) – One way action from the opener, up a full field goal on Alabama in SEC action as the line immediately jumped from ALA -24.0. Crimson Tide are the first team in college football history to score 50+ points in each of its first three games.
#2 Georgia at Missouri (+14) – Bulldogs first tough test on SEC road against a quality quarterback. Drew Lock is 6th in the nation with 1,062 yards, 11 touchdowns and just 1 turnover.
#3 Clemson at Georgia Tech (+17) – Yellow Jackets have lost 2-straight and now run their triple option into Clemson’s top defense. Tigers allowing just 13.3 points against, ranked 15th in the nation.
Louisiana Tech at #6 LSU (-21) - Tigers move up in rankings after last second win over Auburn, 22-21. LSU tries to avoid big letdown against in-state Louisiana Tech, who is 2-0 and off a bye. Oddsmakers showing respect to LSU in NCAAF Week 4 early lines with a three touchdown spread.
#7 Stanford at #20 Oregon (+2) – Key game in PAC-12 North expected to be a close one. Stanford RB Bryce Love looks to return after sitting out last week, likely from concussion symptoms. Oregon's Justin Herbert posting up big numbers already with 840 passing yards and 12 touchdowns against 4 interceptions in three games.
#8 Notre Dame at Wake Forest (+7) – Irish shoot for 4-0 start after another close win last week against Vanderbilt, and NCAAF Week 4 early lines show that the Irish are not as sturdy of a play as the public wants them to be.
Arizona State at #10 Washington (-18) - Huskies return home off strong win at Utah, 21-7 while ASU is off its first loss at San Diego State 28-21 where they were out-rushed 311-36.
#14 Mississippi State at Kentucky (+10.5) - Wildcats will try to upset another SEC foe after taking down Florida on this field. Bulldogs more balanced and a stronger animal on defense. Oddsmakers have keyed on Kentucky's rise in the ranks well, and the NCAAF Week 4 early lines reflect this. That upset over Florida in Week 2 put them on the map.
Texas Tech at #15 Oklahoma State (-13) - Big 12 shootout expected with total of 77, as both teams off key home victories. Texas Tech not to be taken lightly after a 2-1 ATS opener. First real test for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
