NCAAF Week 13: Kentucky vs. Florida odds, preview, and pick
The Alabama offense has become nearly impossible to stop in 2020 and ranks third in the country, at 49.4 points per game.
Not far behind the Crimson Tide, however, are the Florida Gators, who check in at seventh (44.7 points per game).
In Week 13, Florida will get a new test against Kentucky, which was pounded by Alabama, 63-3, last week.
#6 Florida vs. Kentucky
Kentucky has a 3-5 record (and is 3-5 against the spread) and will head to Gainesville to face the 6-1 Gators (3-4 ATS).
Expect Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops to rely on his defense to keep the game close.
Kentucky's strength is its secondary
The Wildcats will need to slow down the potent Florida passing attack.
Kentucky enters the game with the fewest passing yards surrendered per game in the SEC (222), and slowing down Florida quarterback Kyle Trask and tight end Kyle Pitts will be critical.

If Trask is allowed to throw the ball all over the field, Kentucky will be in for a second blowout in as many weeks.
The underdog’s only hope
On the other side of the ball, the one area that Kentucky has outperformed Florida is running the ball efficiently.

Kentucky averages 4.7 yards per rush, versus Florida’s 4.3 average, and while quarterback Terry Wilson Jr. hasn’t had an ideal year, his ability to pick up yards on the ground will help get the extra first downs necessary to cover such a large spread.
What to expect
The Wildcats will slow the game down and control the clock to keep things respectable.
With tough defense, quality special teams, and ball control, Kentucky will have a chance to cover the spread, which, off a 60-point loss, is likely a bit higher than it should be.
