NCAAF Week 10 Rankings and Results
Two Top-10 teams went down in defeat in Week 9 as No. 6 Texas lost at Oklahoma State 38-25 while No. 9 Florida stumbled against No. 7 Georgia 36-19 in Jacksonville. No. 1 Alabama, No. 4 LSU and No. 5 Michigan were all idle in NCAAF Week 10 rankings and remain in place while No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Notre Dame won by more than 20 points.
This week is the first release of the college football playoff rankings, and we’ve listed the current Top-10 teams in the Associated Press (AP) poll along with their opponent this week and the opening line.
No. 1 Alabama (8-0) – idle, at LSU - Line: Alabama -14 No. 2 Clemson (8-0) – pounded Florida State 59-10, hosts Louisville – Line: Clemson -38 No. 3 Notre Dame (8-0) – beat Navy 44-22, at Northwestern - Line ND -7.5 No. 4 LSU (7-1) – idle, hosts Alabama – Line Alabama -14 No. 5 Michigan (7-1) – idle, hosts Penn State – Line: Michigan -10 No. 6 Georgia (7-1) – beat Florida 36-17, at No. 11 Kentucky – Line: Georgia -10 No. 7 Oklahoma (7-1) – buried Kansas State 51-14, at Texas Tech – Line: Oklahoma -10.5 No. 8 Oho State (7-1) –idle, hosts Nebraska – Line: Ohio State -21 No. 9 UCF (7-0) – idle, hosts Temple – Line: UCF N/A No. 10 Washington State (7-1) – beat Stanford 41-38, hosts Cal – Line: WSU -10.5
The remaining 1-loss teams are No. 11 Kentucky, No. 12 West Virginia, No. 17 Houston, No. 18 Utah State and No. 20 Fresno State, who all lead or are tied for their respective divisions in conference play.
Previously undefeated South Florida lost to Houston 57-36 this past weekend and USF fell out of the Top-25. Also, No. 16 Utah (6-2) leads the Pac-12 South and No. 23 Virginia (6-2) leads the ACC Coastal division.
