2018 record: 11-3 2018 SEC record: 7-1 Key additions: WR Demetris Robertson, WR Dominick Blaylock, DE Nolan Smith Key losses: DE Jonathan Ledbetter, CB Deandre Baker, WR Riley RidleyOverview
The 2018 Georgia Bulldogs snatched defeat from the jaws of glorious victory in their loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, which ended their national title hopes. Visions of Jalen Hurts coming in late to lead Alabama down the field will forever haunt Georgia fans' dreams if redemption isn't had in the near future.Heading into 2019 Georgia looks every bit as loaded as it has been the last couple years. While there have been some key departures, head coach Kirby Smart has managed to stockpile more elite talent in Athens. Quarterback Jake Fromm is back to lead the offense with very talented running back D'Andre Swift next to him in the backfield.

On the defensive side of the ball, Jonathan Ledbetter is a big loss on the defensive line, but there is plenty of talent still there. Gone too is leader and Thorpe Award-winning cornerback Deandre Baker. Fromm's No. 1 wide receiver from last year, Riley Ridley, has also departed for the NFL.
To replace some of the key losses, several big-time players are waiting in the wings. Wide receiver Demetris Robertson, a Cal transfer, should have an impactful year. Freshman wide receiver Dominick Blaylock is also a potential difference-maker on offense. On the defensive side, the No. 1 overall recruit of 2019, Nolan Smith, will get the opportunity to prove his merit.

This looks like a very live price for a team that has as much elite talent as Alabama and Clemson. The Bulldogs don't have quite the status of the two favorites, but anyone who has watched the last two SEC Championships realizes just how close they are. Smart is doing a tremendous job and is ready to break through the ceiling with this roster.2019 win total: 10.5 (O -180/U +135)
Georgia's schedule is set up perfectly for success and the Over. The Bulldogs play Notre Dame and Texas A&M at home and avoid both Alabama and LSU from the SEC West. This team is head and shoulders above its competition and is ready to join Clemson and Alabama among the truly elevated elite.Do you think Georgia is just as good as Alabama and Clemson? That opinion can pay through future wagers at BetAmerica!
