Clemson Tigers College Football Info

Over the past decade, Clemson has turned in to one of the most formidable forces in college football thanks to the leadership of head coach Dabo Sweeney. The Clemson Tigers have won the ACC conference championship the last three years and won the National Championship in 2016.  All three of their appearances in the College Football Playoffs have included tough match-ups against Alabama, whom they've lost to twice and defeated once. Including the playoffs, the Tigers are 6-4 SU in the post season.

C.J. Spiller, Shaq Lawson, Dwayne Allen and current Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson are among the Tigers' most notable alumni. Coach Jon Heisman, for whom the Heisman trophy is named, was the head coach at Clemson from 1900-1903 and went 19-3-2 SU as their head coach. They play their home games out of Memorial Stadium in South Carolina, a facility which has a maximum capacity of 81,500.

The 2018 Clemson Tigers enter this year's campaign as the No. 2 ranked school behind their new rival, Alabama. They are expected to be a major threat for the national title once again and are in a major position to repeat their 14-1 SU and 8-7 ATS run from last season.
