Big 12: Oklahoma State vs. Oklahoma odds, preview, and pick
The Big 12 has three games in Week 12 of the college football season featuring the six teams that were off last week.
Last week, West Virginia got a big win over TCU, while Texas Tech won the battle of the Big 12 bottom feeders.
Let’s look at the conference's key rivalry game this week at Oklahoma State and Oklahoma battle it out in the Bedlam Series.
Oklahoma State vs. Oklahoma
Can Oklahoma contain Chuba Hubbard?
Cowboys’ junior running back Chuba Hubbard will be facing Oklahoma for the third time in his career. In his previous two games against the Sooners, Hubbard managed to go over 100 yards on the ground in each game. He also had four touchdowns and averaged 4.4 yards per carry.

Ultimately, the Sooners were able to overcome these performances and get wins in those two games. However, senior running back LD Brown is playing a much bigger role in the backfield this year to help spell Hubbard. Brown has two games this season with over 100 yards on the ground, and the double threat backfield will keep the Sooners defense on their toes.
Will Spencer Rattler be the next Cowboy killer?
Oklahoma has won five consecutive games in this series. The list of quarterbacks that went undefeated against the Cowboys in those five games is quite impressive: Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, and Jalen Hurts. Can Spencer Rattler be next in line?
The redshirt freshman quarterback got off to a rocky start. Rattler threw four interceptions in his team's two losses, but has since been reeled back and his efficiency has improved. He has eight touchdowns to only two interceptions during Oklahoma's four-game winning streak. The Cowboys rank eighth in the nation in passing yards allowed per game and have only allowed seven touchdowns in six games. It will not be easy for Rattler on Saturday night.

Is the Oklahoma turnaround a mirage?
The Sooners are entering this one on a four game winning streak and have taken over as the favorites to win the Big 12. However, if you look at their schedule, they took advantage of playing three consecutive games against bottom half teams in the Big 12. Oklahoma only has one win over a team with a winning record (Texas).
Meanwhile, the Cowboys have defeated three Big 12 teams with winning records (West Virginia, Iowa State, and Kansas State). Oklahoma State has already defeated both teams that beat Oklahoma this season and can take full control of the conference with a win this weekend.
Trends favor the underdog
The underdog has covered three of the past four games in this series. In addition, in the past three seasons, Oklahoma State is 7-2 ATS as an underdog and 3-0 ATS as a road underdog. Meanwhile, Oklahoma is 2-6 ATS in November games and 1-6 ATS coming off a home win against a conference opponent in the past three seasons.
I like the Cowboys to pull off the upset and show the world they are the best team in the Big 12 this season.
Score prediction: Oklahoma State 31, Oklahoma 21
Pick: Oklahoma State +7
