Arizona Wildcats Are Friday's Best NCAAF Week 10 Pick
In the Pac-12 matchup on Friday between Colorado and Arizona, both teams are simply playing for bowl eligibility. Colorado’s lost three in a row after starting the season 5-0. The Wildcats are just 4-5 SU and 5-4 ATS this season, having struggled to recover from opening the season with two losses. Earlier in the evening, the Pittsburgh Panthers take on Virginia, while Western Kentucky battles Middle Tennessee. Check out below to see which side earned my backing as the best NCAAF Week 10 pick on Friday night!
Friday, Nov. 2
Pittsburgh Panthers at #22 Virginia Cavaliers -7
The Cavaliers are no longer under the radar after winning their third straight and 5 of 6 against North Carolina in Week 8. Virginia’s also 7-1 ATS this season while the favorite has gone 6-1-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.
Pitt is 3-1-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. I’m not comfortable laying 7 points on Virginia. Panthers are the play.
NCAAF Week 10 Pick: Pittsburgh +7
Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders -13.5
With their 1-7 SU record, Western Kentucky’s one of the worst teams in Conference USA. Middle Tennessee is 5-3 SU overall and 4-1 SU in Conference USA. The Blue Raiders are only 4-4 ATS, though. They also allow 27.9 while only scoring 28.4. Here’s another where I feel most comfortable taking the points. It's just too many.
NCAAF Week 10 Pick: Western Kentucky +13.5
Colorado Buffalos at Arizona Wildcats -3.5
Arizona’s my alma mater so you must forgive me if I don’t put too much emphasis on how the Wildcats dominated Oregon in Tucson last Saturday. However, there are a couple of things I can’t forgive this season. One of those things is losing to Oregon State, which Colorado did in Week 8.
Arizona is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games. So, there is a trend backing up my play on the Wildcats other than my belief that any team that loses to Oregon State should probably shut their doors the rest of the season. They'll get back in stride on Friday night.
