Surging Cardinals
After a rocky December run, the Louisville seems to be putting the pieces together at a good time. The Cardinals have won four straight ACC games, including three straight on the road. That road trip included test at Cameron Indoor Stadium, where Louisville snagged a 79-73 win over No. 3 Duke.Louisville is back home for a two-game homestand against unranked ACC opponents, a stretch that could provide time to for the Cardinals to establish an offensive identity. Freshman point guard David Johnson had a standout performance at Duke, where he led the team with 19 points and seven assists. Johnson will most likely contribute substantial minutes at that spot moving forward.

Preseason ACC Player of the Year Jordan Nwora will look to get back to his offensive best, as he was held to just six points against the Blue Devils.
This might look like an easy win for Chris Mack’s Cardinals, but this game has all the pieces to be a hangover game for Louisville. Off Louisville’s first win at Cameron Indoor since before all its players were born, the Cardinals will have to show discipline to refocus against Georgia Tech
Johnson had a late-game scare with his surgically repaired shoulder on Saturday. If his minutes are limited and Nwora isn't a scoring threat, Georgia Tech could play things closer than expected.
