Florida State presents outstanding value in Final Four odds
March Madness is upon us, and two regions will get underway Saturday as teams from the East and West regions tip off in first-round games. We have a few exciting Final Four prop bets to examine before the action gets underway.
Odds to make the Final Four
Team | Odds |

Gonzaga | -230 |
Baylor | -134 |
Illinois | +125 |
Michigan | +200 |
Houston | +250 |
Alabama | +400 |
Iowa | +400 |
Oklahoma State | +500 |
West Virginia | +500 |
Texas | +550 |
Overlook Florida State at your own peril
First, let’s head to the East Region, which is headlined by No. 1 seed Michigan. The Wolverines won the Big Ten regular season title, but limped home with several losses, and to make matters worse, starter Isaiah Livers is not expected to play in the tournament.

I think value lies with No. 4 seed Florida State, which is +675 to win the region and advance to the national semis. The Seminoles are deep, excel on both ends of the floor, and hit me as underseeded when they wound up on the No. 4 line on Selection Sunday. Their journey starts with a matchup against No. 13 seed UNC Greensboro, and they could potentially meet Michigan in the Sweet 16.
Oregon could surprise in the West Region
Meanwhile, the West Region features a very heavy favorite, and for good reason. Top-seeded Gonzaga is undefeated going into the Big Dance, and with a balanced roster that boasts plenty of matchup nightmares, the Bulldogs are considered favorites to win it all and give head coach Mark Few his first national title. Gonzaga is -230, which is far from a tremendous price, but it’s not like the Bulldogs are favorites ridden with flaws.

If you’re looking for a bigger price, though, what about Oregon? The Ducks have gone 20-6 this season, and just one of those losses came to a non-tournament team. Furthermore, the Pac-12 has done well for itself so far, with UCLA and Oregon State knocking off Michigan State and Tennessee, and head coach Dana Altman has made the Final Four once before (in 2017). Oregon is +1900 to get hot and advance to that point again, and if Gonzaga stubs its toe over the next few weeks, the Ducks could certainly be in a position to benefit.
