Aaron Rodgers Super Bowl Wins, Years, Teams, Scores, Stats, and More
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has long been considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in professional football history, but his personal success on the field has not necessarily translated to team success when it comes to winning the big games.
The four-time NFL MVP and 10-time Pro Bowler has led the league in passer rating four times (2011, 2012, 2020, 2021) and touchdown passes twice (2016, 2020), while his 103.6 career passer rating is the best of any quarterback in history with a minimum of 1,500 pass attempts, and he holds the record for most consecutive passes without an interception (402).
Following three seasons with the Green Bay Packers as a backup to Brett Favre, Rodgers guided Green Bay to a winning record in all but four seasons as a starter from 2008-2022. Rodgers reached the postseason in 11 of those seasons and played in the Super Bowl once. His overall playoff record is 11-10, with four of those losses coming in the NFC Championship Game.
In 2023, Rodgers made his debut with a new team, the Jets, after Green Bay traded its franchise quarterback to New York. The hype surrounding his move was short-lived, however, as he suffered a ruptured Achilles on his fourth offensive snap of the season. Prior to Week 1, the Jets were a +1600 dark horse to win the Super Bowl. Those odds quickly changed after Rodgers was projected to miss the remaining games in 2023.
Ahead of the 2024 season, Rodgers is expected to make a full return to New York, with the Jets listed as a +2500 choice to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in Rodgers’ 20th year in the league.

In what year(s) has Aaron Rodgers played in the Super Bowl?
Rodgers made his lone Super Bowl appearance thus far in his third season as a starter for Green Bay, when the Packers went 10-6 and finished second in the NFC North behind the 11-5 Chicago Bears.
Green Bay began its postseason journey in the Wild Card Round and defeated No. 3 Philadelphia 21-16, as Rodgers went 18-of-27 passing for 180 yards and three touchdowns. The sixth-seeded Packers advanced to the Divisional Round to face the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons and handed Matt Ryan and Co. a 48-21 loss, with Rodgers once again recording three touchdown passes, and he ran for another score.
In the NFC Championship Game, Rodgers clashed with NFC North rival Chicago, the No. 2 seed, and defeated the Bears 21-14 despite a shaky performance in which he failed to record a touchdown pass and threw two interceptions. Rodgers finished the game with 244 passing yards and 39 rushing yards, and reached paydirt on a one-yard run in the first quarter.
On Feb. 6, 2011, the Packers returned to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1997 season to confront the second seed from the AFC, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Packers opened up Super Bowl XLV with a 14-point lead in the first quarter after Rodgers connected with Jordy Nelson on a 29-yard touchdown pass and Nick Collins returned an interception for a touchdown.
Green Bay continued to dominate in the second quarter, but Pittsburgh closed the gap in the third and trailed by just four points to start the fourth. Rodgers picked up his team after a sluggish second-half start and found Greg Jennings for an eight-yard pass to kick off the final quarter. Mason Crosby ultimately sealed the deal with a 23-yard field goal to put the Packers up 31-25 for good with 2:10 remaining in regulation.
Which team(s) did Rodgers defeat in the Super Bowl?
Rodgers' only Super Bowl appearance saw him square off with the Mike Tomlin-led Steelers, who had just secured the Lombardi Trophy two seasons earlier in Tomlin's second season as a head coach. Behind Ben Roethlisberger, receiver Mike Wallace, running back Rashard Mendenhall, and a top-ranked defense featuring Troy Polamalu, the Steelers opened as a 2.5-point underdog to the Packers, whose defense ranked second in the league in points against.
The Steelers owned the third-best record in the league earlier in the season, at 12-4, and finished first in the AFC North. They beat division rival Baltimore 31-24 in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, then knocked off the sixth-seeded New York Jets 24-19 in the AFC Championship Game. The Jets had previously pulled off an upset in the Divisional Round over the top-seeded New England Patriots, who achieved a NFL-best 14-2 record in the regular season.
