Who is favored to win the men's and women's U.S. Open?
While Djokovic is coming off his first gold-medal win in the Olympics, where he defeated Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets, the 24-time Grand Slam winner is second in the U.S. Open futures.
At the top of the odds board is Alcaraz, a 21-year-old from Spain who won the 2024 French Open and defended his 2023 Wimbledon title later in July. Alcaraz earned his first Grand Slam win at the 2022 U.S. Open and fell to Daniil Medvedev in the 2023 semifinal round.

She's fresh off a title at the Cincinnati Open, where she beat Jessica Pegula in straight sets in the final. In that semifinal, she knocked off Iga Swiatek — the second choice on the 2024 U.S. Open odds board — with a 6-3, 6-3 victory.
Four-time French Open winner Swiatek is ranked first in the WTA and won the 2022 U.S. Open over Ons Jabeur, a +8000 longshot in the 2024 tournament.
Elena Rybakina, the winner of the 2022 women's title at Wimbledon, is fourth on the U.S. Open odds board (+900) and fell in the semifinal round at the All England Club in July before an early exit at the Cincinnati Open in the round of 32.
